TIPPSS FOR CONNECTED HEALTHCARE AND CLINICAL IoT

The imperative to ensure we deploy medical IoT with TIPPSS – Trust, Identity, Privacy, Protection, Safety and Security – is becoming more and more important as the plethora of clinical IoT devices grows. IEEE and the US NSF have been working with the research, industry, academic and regulatory community to develop the TIPPSS framework since 2016. Learn about the IEEE Standards Assocation pre-standards workstream on clinical IoT data validation and interoperability with blockchain which Florence is leading with regulators, device manufacturers, industry leaders, startups, academic researchers, pharmaceuticals and other members of the medical IoT device ecosystem to develop recommendations on a TIPPSS framework for clinical IoT device and data interoperability with blockchain.
