Ron Ribitzky, MD, Founder/CEO, R&D Ribitzky

Dr. Ribitzky is a physician executive with cross-functional experience in healthcare IT, life-sciences informatics, and Precision Medicine. He worked for and with global leading brands and world-class organizations, R&D, and academia in the U.S. and 23 developed and emerging economy countries. He published, presented and led workshops on technology innovation and practice in industry events, public sector, and academia around the world.

Presently, Dr. Ribitzky is a member of HIMSS Blockchain Work Group, and serves as a Strategic Advisor to Blockchain start-ups ARNA Genomics and BitMed; and ICO Summit Kazan. He collaborated with Intel on Blockchain in Healthcare Cybersecurity and Privacy webinar; and with IDC on ‘Blockchain for Business & IT Leaders’ conference. Frost & Sullivan adopted his Blockchain Roadmap for its Blockchain Technology in Global Healthcare, 2017–2025 report.

His consultancy firm R&D Ribitzky focuses on consumer-facing solutions, UX, Search, AI, Blockchain, and Semantic services. Clients served include Microsoft R&D, Intel, IBM, KP, NSF, the UN and others.

Previously, Dr. Ribitzky co-founded SPH Analytics, and served as a Senior Healthcare Strategist, Intel; VP Advanced Research, Eclipsys; CIO, UMass Medical Center and other. He held academic appointments at Harvard, UMass, Emory, KHI / KIST in Rwanda, and other.
